Last Night’s Dem. Debate: A Smart Move Away from Race

The second round of televised debates among Democratic presidential candidates kicked off last night, with a marked departure from the heavy emphasis on race issues that pervaded the last round of debates.  Much more attention was given to the economy.  On-Target’s Larry Sparano says that must continue, if the Democrats expect to win against Trump.  Here’s how he explains it in this segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  Larry and Kent’s conversation follows part of an interview with candidate Elizabeth Warren:

Petro-Dollars and 9/11: Is There a Connection?

Much of the strength of the U.S. economy is based on the Petro-Dollar.  And to make sure that it reigns supreme in global trading, the United States doesn’t hesitate to punish and even overthrow nations that try to move away from this world reserve currency.  What extreme steps has the U.S. taken to ensure the status-quo?  Is their a connection between the Petro-Dollar and 9/11?  Here what On-target’s Larry Sparano thinks, in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Trump Budget Increases Spending and Debt — But Both Sides are to Blame

The shape of the nation’s econcomy –long term–continues to worsen, following Trump’s new two-year budget, which has already passed the house and is headed for the Senate. The spending package includes increasing the national debt to 4.2 trillion dollars, and increasing spending by 320 billion. On-Target’s Larry Sparano says this is a formula for an eventual financial disaster of monumental proportions. Here’s Larry talking with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York, following a series of reports today on the outsized dimensions of the nation’s latest spending plan

Trump’s Selling of America: Who Set the Stage for His Political Best Seller?

MSNBC’sThe Joy Reid went on The Breakfast Show this week, to talk about her new book: The Man Who Sold America.  We’ll first hear from Reid, and then from On-Target’s Larry Sparano, during his latest appearance on WIOX Radio New York with Kent Garrett.  You’ll hear Larry explain how the political party most critical to Trump enabled his rise to the highest office in the land:

George Will: Medicare Too Expensive? Here’s the Real Reason Why

Conservative columnist George Will has left the Republican Party, because, he says, it has strayed too far from true conservative principles. In an interview with Judy Woodruff, Will says the GOP has  marched away from the conservative belief that the government should not provide all things to all people.  And the most glaring example of this is Medicare, which he says is simply too expensive to fund.  But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says that’s because of the plundering of the system by special interests.  Larry explains this in a conversation with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  But we begin with Woodruff’s interview with Will:

Trump’s “Manipulation” is Media’s Own Fault

Many media commentators complian of Trump’s “manipulation” of the news they report. But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says Trump is able to do that because of the media’s largely unbalanced coverage of all things Trump. Larry explains, in this segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  But we begin with the latest opinions from news blogger David Pakman:

“Racist” and “Liar” –New Media Standard for Trump

Trump’s recent tweet, telling Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to go back to her own country contiues to raise a storm of protests and controversy.  Many media pundits and commentators say it is more proof that Trump is not only an unabashed liar, but a racist as well.  And that is amply reason, they say, to stop pulling their verbal punches and state outright and often that Trump is indeed what his critics have long accused him of.  But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says such terms are being used much too freely, especially when it comes to Trump.  In the following   segment, you’ll hear Larry and Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York in sharp disagreement. But we begin with a montage of reports from various media:

Israel’s Mossad Behind Epstein Operation?

The arrest of Jeffrey Epstein on charges of sex wih underage females is filling the airwaves these days. But is the full story being told?  What some reporters are beginning to get a glimmering of is Epstein’s possible role as an operative of a foreign intelligence operation. And the most likely susect appears to be Mossad, which is a  powerful arm of the Israeli intelligence apparatus.  What was the game?  To lure powerful politicians into compromising situations, then controlling them by threatening to reveal tapes and photos of their sexual indescretions.  Among the prominent figures who flew on Epstain’s private jet:  Bill Clinton.  On-Target’s Larry Sparano has some thoughts on this in a segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  But we begin with a report by Rick Sanchez, on RT America:

Civil War Ahead? –And Will It Be Trump’s Fault?

A number of commentators are now talking about the growing possibility of a new civil war in the United States, with race, once again as the reason.  And those same commentators blame Trump for forstering a climate leading to it.  But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says if it happens, Trump will not be the only one to blame.   Here’s Larry talking about that with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

The Immigration Mess: Is Obama Blameless?

Democrats, Liberals, and most of the mainstream media continue to heap blame on Trump for the horrid conditions at our nation’s immigration holding centers. But, refreshingly, journalist Kim Iverson says Obama was as much to blame as Trump.  On-target’s Larry Sparano agrees wholeheartedly in his latest segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  We begin with analysis by Iverson:
