Biden’s Gun Ban Backlash

“Beau” of the Fifth Column podcast is claiming that moderate conservatives are ready to cross-over to Biden, except for the former Vice President’s support for the ban on assault weapons. But Larry Sparano takes issue with Beau’s analysis, arguing that Beau is really a Liberal-Progressive in disguise who exaggerates a southern accent to convince his listeners that you can be a redneck and still embrace traditionally liberal positions. Larry talks about this with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Kenosha: The Real Story

CNN and other media outlets are again rushing to judgement in presenting a selectively-edited version of what was occuring when 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people during the rioting in Kenosha this week. Two of Rittenhouse’s “victims” died, one was seriously injured. He’s been charged with murder. But Larry Sparano says there could be a strong case for self-defense, if you watch ALL the videos carefully. They show that Rittenhouse fired when he was being set upon by “peaceful” protesters. But as you’ll hear, Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York has a distinctly different opinion:

Selective “Fact-Checking” at CNN

How many lies were told by Trump and others on the second night of the Republican National Convention? Too many to count, if you listen to CNN “fact-checker” and reporter Daniel Dale. But Larry Sparano says Dale should check his own facts before coming to some of his conclusions. Larry explains, in this conversation with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York”

UFO Disclosure Underway?

After more than seventy years of secrecy and ridicule, both the U.S. government and the media appear to have reversed course and are now taking the UFO phenomenon seriously. Is a long-hoped-for disclosure underway, or is it another effort to sow more confusion and doubt? Larry Sparano talks about that with researcher Tom Whitmore, of MUFON –the Mutual UFO Network which keeps a sharp eye on UFO sightings:

Trump On Biden Turf –As Biden Accepts Nomination!

Just hours before Joe Biden accepted his party’s nomination for the presidency, President Trump appeared in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, a few miles from Biden’s boyhood home of Scranton. There he talked about all the jobs he says Biden allowed to go to China –and how he’s bringing those jobs back to the workers. Will the strategy work? That’s what Larry Sparano is talking about today with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

DHS’s Miles Taylor Playing Both Sides?

Former Homeland Security Chief of Staff Miles Taylor is among the Republicans who are now criticizing President Trump. Among other things, Miles points to the Trump policy of family separations at the border as an example of the President’s cruel and self-serving moves. But Taylor left the administration praising Trump, and is now in trouble at Google where he got a job after leaving DHS. Larry Sparano questions what is behind Taylor’s bashing of Trump, and his new support for Joe Biden, in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Postal Shutdown? Or Media Spin?

Mayor news outlets have been reporting that a shutdown of the U.S. Postal Service is imminent, because President Trump wants to defund it. He wants to defund it, as the stories go, so that he won’t be defeated through mail-in balloting. But actually, although Trump might like to see that happen, the disruption of mail-in voting could occur because many state election boards are not prepared to properly handle and accurately process the massive amounts of ballots that they would send and receive. Larry Sparano and Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio are talking about that today:

Trump’s “Fear-Mongering”?

On CNN and other mainstream news outlets, Trump is being heavily accused of fear-mongering tactics to win re-election. But is some of what he is raising alarms about justified? That’s what Larry Sparano is talking about today with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Kamala a Moderate? Trump Says No!

Lots of mainstream media are following the cue of the New York Times, in claiming that Kamala Harris is a “pragmatic moderate”. The apparent strategy in depicting her as such is to win the support of mainstream moderate Democrats in this year’s presidential election. But will Joe Biden’s pick for his running mate be able to convince voters that she is a centrist who shares their values? Beau of the “Fifth Column” says yes. Larry Sparano has doubts, as you’ll hear in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Kamala the Next President?

In picking Joe Biden for president, will voters actually be selecting Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States? That’s what Larry Sparano thinks, in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:
