Loughlin Case: Blind Justice or Selective Prosecution?

More charges are being piled on actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, who allegedly paid college coaches big money to get their daughters into elite schools.  The most serious charge so far is money laundering.  If convicted, that could get her and her husband some serious time in jail.  Prosecutors added that to the couples’ indictments after they refused to cop a plea, and admit guilt to lesser charges.  While many applaud this as a hopeful sign that the justice system is finally going after the rich, famous and powerful, On-target’s Larry Sparano says don’t get your hopes up.  He points out that lots of other folks with clout continue to get off Scot-free, or  with a slap on the wrist.   Friends with high political connections still seems to be the get-out-of-jail-free card.  Jussie Smollett is a case in point.  Here’s Larry talking about all that with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio, New York:
