MSNBC’sThe Joy Reid went on The Breakfast Show this week, to talk about her new book: The Man Who Sold America. We’ll first hear from Reid, and then from On-Target’s Larry Sparano, during his latest appearance on WIOX Radio New York with Kent Garrett. You’ll hear Larry explain how the political party most critical to Trump enabled his rise to the highest office in the land:
Many media commentators complian of Trump’s “manipulation” of the news they report. But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says Trump is able to do that because of the media’s largely unbalanced coverage of all things Trump. Larry explains, in this segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York. But we begin with the latest opinions from news blogger David Pakman:
In their latest blow-out, Donald Trump and House Leader Nancy Pelosi each accused the other of wrongdoing, as the war between the Trump Administration and the Congressional Democrats continues. The latest episode of the contining sit-com was set off when Trump walked out of a scheduled meeting with Dems in the White House. Trump says he left, because prior to the meeting, Pelosi accused the President of a cover-up regarding his alleged “obstruction of justice.” As soon as he left the meeting, Trump blasted Pelose and the Democrats in the White House Rose Garden, in a press conference he scheduled before his walk-out. Critics say Trump went into the meeting having already decided to walk-out, so he could immediately attack Democrats for what he describes as their continuing witch hunt and agenda for his impeachment. The meeting, by the way, was to discuss the crucial issue of repairing the nation’s infrastructure. On-Target’s Larry Sparano offers his reaction to the latest partisan skirmish, with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:
The President is declaring victory over his critics following the non-conclusions of the Mueller Report regarding Obstruction of Justice, and the affirmative conclusion that there was no “Russian Collusion” on Trump’s part. But Democrats are making it plain that they will pursue all such matters further –much further.
How much traction will they get, heading into the 2020 elections? Here’s On-Target’s Larry Sparano, talking about that with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:
