Media Curbs on Trump: A Very Bad Idea

A college professor says the media should put a muzzle on the president, by not reporting the tweets, rallies, and insults that he puts out to gain political advantage.  Brian L. Ott, a professor of Communications Studies at Texas Tech University says news outlets should stop enabling Donald Trump, by carrying his hateful messages to the American public.  But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says such censorship of the President’s worrds and actions would lead to a much worse situation.  He explains why, in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

 

New Zealand Shootings: Is Trump Really the Blame?

The massacre of worshipers at a mosque in New Zealand has renewed accusations that President Trump is responsible for the surge in hate crimes in the U.S. and around the world.  In a manifesto, the white supremacist who shot and killed 50 people

cites Trump as a symbol of White Pride, with whom he shares a common purpose.
