Selective “Fact-Checking” at CNN

How many lies were told by Trump and others on the second night of the Republican National Convention? Too many to count, if you listen to CNN “fact-checker” and reporter Daniel Dale. But Larry Sparano says Dale should check his own facts before coming to some of his conclusions. Larry explains, in this conversation with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York”

Trump Verses Biden: Why Trump’s B.S. Goes Over With Voters!

If you analyze much of what Trump says, it’s either exaggeration or outright deception. So why do voters remain attached to the most unconventional president of recent times? On Target’s Larry Sparano says it’s because of the emotional bonding he has maintained with his supporters from the time he announced for the Presidency. Here’s Larry talking about Trump’s special talent, with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Only Fox Viewers Are Lied To?

CNN is running a piece from political reporter and commentator Chris Cillizza. It cites a survey showing that Fox News viewers are much less likely to view other news outlets than those who sample a variety of news sources. And hence, Fox News junkies have a much more distorted view of the world and are much more prone to accepting the lies which Trump and Fox News purvey. But On Target’s Larry Sparano and Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York have a big difference of opinion about that:

Critic: Trump Should Be Called Liar More Often??!!!

According to Eric Boehlert of the Daily Kos, the media are remiss in not calling Trump a liar often enough, and are too timid in expressing “moral” outrage. But On-Target’s Larry Sparano wonders what planet Boehlert has been reporting from. Here is Larry’s contrary opinion, in discussion with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Disinformation and Misinformation: TRENDING in the Media

How can you know if what the media is telling you is true? It’s not easy. On-Target’s Larry Sparano and Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York have a few pointers:

Trump’s “Manipulation” is Media’s Own Fault

Many media commentators complian of Trump’s “manipulation” of the news they report. But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says Trump is able to do that because of the media’s largely unbalanced coverage of all things Trump. Larry explains, in this segment with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York.  But we begin with the latest opinions from news blogger David Pakman:

Mueller Report: Dems Still Barking Up Wrong Tree!

The din of screaming Democrats and partisan analysts is intensifying, now that the Mueller Report has been released to the public.  But whether some of its conclusions are true or untrue, their hidden goal of removing Trump from office may very well backfire, and actually increase Trump’s chances of being re-elected.  On-Target’s Larry Sparano explains why, in his latest exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

Media Curbs on Trump: A Very Bad Idea

A college professor says the media should put a muzzle on the president, by not reporting the tweets, rallies, and insults that he puts out to gain political advantage.  Brian L. Ott, a professor of Communications Studies at Texas Tech University says news outlets should stop enabling Donald Trump, by carrying his hateful messages to the American public.  But On-Target’s Larry Sparano says such censorship of the President’s worrds and actions would lead to a much worse situation.  He explains why, in this exchange with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:

State of the Union: A Win or Loss for Trump?

Democrats are quickly pointing out what they say are all the distortions, exaggerations and lies in Trump’s State-of-the-Union address.  But will it make any difference heading into the 2020 election season?  Will Trump continue to hold his base, and perhaps even win new support?   And can Democrats rally enough votes to oust him by attacking his credibility?   Hear what On-Target’s Larry Sparano thinks, in his latest discussion with Kent Garrett of WIOX Radio New York:
